OSPAS teams up with NSI for 2020 Thought Leadership Summit

The Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) has officially announced that they will be partnering with the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) for the 3rd Annual UK OSPAs Thought Leadership summit at the Royal Lancaster Hotel on the 26th of February.

Each year, the Summit aims to bring together security providers, buyers and other stakeholders to engage and discuss key issues that affect the security industry at large.

Of the partnership, Professor Martin Gill, Founder of the OSPAs, is quoted as saying, “The full programme is yet to be announced but promises to be lively, informative and thought provoking. We are delighted to be working in association with NSI to deliver an event that will allow key players to contribute to matters in a way that could influence and shape the industry going forward”

NSI Chief Executive Richard Jenkins said: “Leaders and senior management in forward thinking businesses have an opportunity at the OSPAs Thought Leadership Summit to debate specific topics and help shape the industry future together.

NSI sees continual improvement as a way of life for security providers. We welcome fresh perspectives that provoke constructive debate about how the industry should develop. Recognising new technology and shared standards can help propel the security sector and raise its profile with buyers, people joining the industry, and in communities at large.

‘The soon-to-be-announced speaker programme addresses some of the key challenges the security sector faces today. NSI is proud to be the sponsor of this, the third OSPAs Thought Leadership Summit.”

The event will begin at noon with a product and services exhibition with accompanying buffet lunch, followed by the summit commencement. The summit is set to conclude by 16:30 and will be followed by the OSPAs Ceremony and dinner starting at 18:45

Doors will open to the event at midday, for a networking buffet lunch with a comprehensive exhibition of products and services on display, followed by the summit conference.  The event is set to finish around 16:30 and the OSPAs awards dinner will follow at 18:45.
