The British Security Industry Association’s (BSIA) flagship event, the British Security Awards, is to move to a new venue and date for 2023.The awards, now in its 26th year, will take place on Wednesday 21 June, a week earlier than previous years, at the iconic Grand Connaught Rooms, Covent Garden London. Major national retailers and banks are facing cash shortages on Monday the 4th of December as members of the GMB union at G4S begin a strike action.Retailers that are expected to be affected include Tesco, Asda, Aldi and Wetherspoons as well as some banks including Barclays, HSBC and Santander. UK needs 62,000 new security officers to ensure public safety in 2023
