SecuriGroup was announced as the ACS Champion of the Year 2009 at last night’s Security Excellence Awards, which took place at London’s Park Lane Hilton. The category for ACS Champion is in its second year and is sponsored by the SIA. The award recognises approved contractors that have taken exceptional steps to raise their operational standards and promote good practice within the industry. The judges decided upon SecuriGroup, based in Glasgow, as the winner because they demonstrated:

SIA chairman Baroness Ruth Henig, who presented the award, said: “SecuriGroup have shown that they are committed to ensuring high standards, working with other parties to achieve a safer environment for the public. I congratulate them on their work to raise awareness of the value of the ACS scheme and am pleased to present the company with this award.”
