Bobby Logue believes that in 2012 the regulated security sector has decreased by 3.5% in  terms of turnover reducing to £3,18 billion (2011 – £3.3 billion). The annualised turnover of the Top 20 companies has decreased by an estimated 2.11% from £2.575 billion to £2.645 billion writes’s Bobby Logue. There are no new entrants to the Top 20 and some turnover figures have been reduced as a result of an over estimation by in 2011. The growth of the bundled services providers (BSP) continues and we estimate that the market gross margin was reduced by at least 2.5%. BSP’s accounted for approximately 59% of the regulated security sector with 11 BSP companies featuring in the Top 20.
