In December 2022 it was confirmed that, global investment firm, Clayton Dubilier & Rice had completed the purchase of OCS’ entire facilities management division. At the time, OCS Group CEO, John hunter, commented:
“I am immensely proud of the OCS business transformation and growth of the OCS FS business that we have achieved over the last 6 years. Under CD&R’s ownership, with their reputation as a business builder and extensive experience in the facilities services space, the business is now well placed to further accelerate its strategic growth ambitions. CD&R is in an excellent position to invest to continue to enhance value propositions for customers, and future opportunities for colleagues.”
Consequently, there was talk that the investment firm was also looking to acquire Atalian Servest and merge the two companies. As of this week, it has been confirmed that the sale of Atalian’s UK business has been completed and that the merger will happen.
On UK security revenue alone, as per the Infologue Top 65 2022, the new company will surpass Securitas in size and challenge Bidvest Noonan for its place in the Top 3.
Atalian’s Group CEO Rob Legge will become Group CEO of the newly merged businesses.
As more information emerges, we will update this breaking story.
