Interconnective Director and Infologue Editor to Judge British Security Awards

On the 25th of April 2024, it was announced that Infologue Editor in Chief, Byron Logue had been appointed as one of the official national judges for this year’s British Security Awards, hosted by the British Security Industry Association (BSIA).

The British Security Awards are the longest running security industry annual awards event where key figures gather to celebrate the achievements of individuals and teams in the UK security sector. This year, the glamorous event will take place on July 3rd at the Royal Lancaster Hotel.

Byron Logue joined the security industry in 2018, taking over Infologue and Interconnective Security Products, and has since specialized in the development of advanced security and detection technology launching several brands such as The Partner Body Cameras and RISK Metal Detectors. Byron has also been a part of various initiatives and believes in championing increased standards in the security industry with a particular focus on promoting smaller security companies. The most notable example of this was the expansion of the famous Infologue Top 20 to the Infologue Top 100. The Top 100 gives smaller companies recognition in a sector that is often dominated by larger enterprises.

Prior to 2018, Byron Logue worked in Beijing as the Marketing Director for healthcare technology ventures such as U-Plus and stem cell specialist, the Puhua International Hospital. Byron has lived and worked abroad in Africa and Asia for nearly 25 years and leverage’s his international experience in his work.

Of being selected as a national judge for the awards, Byron Logue is quoted as saying, “It is always a privilege to be able to contribute to anything that shines a light on the exceptional efforts of the men and women of the UK security industry. The British Security Awards is a great initiative and I am always willing to support the British Security Industry Association and the great work that they do.”
