John, who has been with the BSIA since 2016, will be overseeing the Manpower sections in his new role. Additionally, he will be working closely with the Export Council to promote British security abroad. His goal will be to raise the profile of both of these sectors while developing opportunities for respective members.

John has been working in the security industry for over 25 years and has held positions at Pointer Ltd and Connelly Security Systems. In the 3 years that he has been with the BSIA, he has moved from Scottish Regional Representative to Senior Business Executive to his new role. John is well regarded in the industry and is a member of the Institute of Leadership & Management.
