This morning, Thursday 11 August, officers paid an early morning visit to eight addresses in Lambeth to arrest those suspected of being responsible for the recent disorder. Those suspected of being involved received a surprise, when officers simultaneously executed search warrants at properties including two addresses in Styles Gardens, Brixton. A number of people were arrested for violent disorder, burglary and handling stolen goods.
