Advance Security has extended its operations into the public sector with two prestigious local authority contracts. In a three year deal, with the option to extend for a further two years, Advance has been awarded a major contract to provide CCTV operatives for a new state of the art communications centre owned by the Metropolitan Borough Council of Calderdale. Sussex police were recently named as one of the top three police services for quality fingerprints using the Livescan system. Quality fingerprints are important as they increase the chance of matching a detainee’s prints with previous prints taken from a crime scene. G4S Security Services (UK), part of G4S plc, has been appointed by ABP (Associated British Ports) Humber to provide a range of security services across the Ports of Grimsby, Immingham (South Humber), Hull and Goole (North Humber).
