On Wednesday the 19th of February 2020, Axis Security, an arm of the Axis Group, announced that they had re-secured their contract with Daiwa Capital Markets Europe. The contract covers the provision of manned guarding and front of house reception services at Daiwa’s London head office, in conjunction with Axis’ front of house arm, Acuity.
Axis has be providing security and front of house services to Daiwa’s central London Grade II listed head office at 5 William Street since 2015. The contract involves seven security officers working 24 hours a day with two reception staff covering working hours. They were re-awarded the contract following an extensive re-tendering process which included Daiwa visiting Axis’ other clients’ sites including the Scalpel and Sea Containers House.
Daiwa’s Head of Facilities Management, Peter Woods said of the win, that Axis had, “committed to make further improvements to the service delivery, which includes the introduction of more technology to support the security officers and more training across the team. We have the right people for the environment, and they get the balance of security and customer service just right”
Axis Security Managing Director, David Mundell said, “We have two specialist management teams supporting their respective services and ensuring our staff are happy and well supported,” he explains. “We are pleased to continue working with Daiwa, further improving our service and delivering the same high-levels of support they have come to expect.”
