It will be one of the most photographed Christmas trees in the world, so it’s important that everything is in full working order. And it's been left to MITIE engineer Winston Haywood from our Technical Facilities Management team to individually check all 600 bulbs that will be used to light up the 70ft tree that wil be switched on in London’s Trafalgar Square on Thursday evening. ISS UK team trek for British Heart Foundation
After months of dedicated training, a team of 75 employees from ISS Facility Services UK, completed the 17miles (40,000 steps) of the High Peak Winter Trail to raise funds for ISS UK’s corporate charity, the British Heart Foundation. Total facilities management company OCS has won a £2 million contract with MyFerryLink at the port of Dover. The contract covers the highly-specilaised work of mooring and letting go of ferries as well as the onloading and offloading of unaccompanied freight.
