IFSEC, the prominent security exhibition, has announced the launch of IFSEC Europe. The exhibition, which already has shows in 7 countries including the UK and several Asian nations, will be finally be extending it’s reach into Europe with their new event that will take place every 2 years.
IFSEC Europe will be held between the 20th and 22nd of September 2021 in the Netherlands at RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre.
Taking place for the first time on 20-22 September 2021 at RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre, IFSEC Europe will create a pan-European home for integrated security, fire safety and intelligent buildings professionals in one of Europe’s most dynamic and accessible capitals.
IFSEC is a well known location for the launching of new security solutions and innovative products, hosting over 80K visitors from over 120 different countries in 2019 alone. It is hoped that IFSEC Europe will further facilitate the connection of major security product manufacturers with end users through-out the continent. Additionally, it will provide the opportunity for international companies and professionals to penetrate the European market.
“IFSEC Europe will extend the IFSEC brand into a vibrant market to parallel and complement the London-based IFSEC International, which will remain IFSEC’s centrepiece event. It will provide a much-needed hub for the European security industry, and create a new entry point for the European market for the UK-based firms that already attend IFSEC International.
Amsterdam is centrally-located and easily-accessible, making it the ideal location for a pan-European security event. In addition, it’s a beautiful, dynamic and exciting city in which we’ve been working to launch an event since 2017, so it’s a joy to finally announce a major event there,” said Strategy Director of IFSEC International, Gerry Dunphy.
Event Director of IFSEC International, Simon Young is quoted as saying:
“We’re thrilled to announce this addition to the IFSEC portfolio. IFSEC International in London remains the most important event for the UK security market, but we feel this expansion into Amsterdam meets an urgent need for a sophisticated, comprehensive integrated security tradeshow in the European market.”
RAI Amsterdam is conveniently located 15 minutes from Schiphol Airport and has it’s own railway station with links directly to the city.
