Axis group works with suppliers to support not-for-profit, Successful Mums

Axis_security_group_logoAxis Group, a well-known security (through Axis Security) and support services provider, has partnered with one of their IT partners, LP Networks, to recycle their laptops while supporting a good cause. The initiative sees the company donating their used computers to not-for-profit, Successful Mums.

Successful Mums is a training and networking company that focuses on helping mothers return to work and in four years have helped over 5000 women to build careers and businesses.

As part of their program with Successful Mums, Axis has donated 15 laptops so far with more planned. All laptops have been wiped by LP Networks to a GDPR compliant standard, been fitted with windows ten and had new SSD hardware installed. LP Networks, Managing Director, Lee Pepper says, “We are extremely pleased to provide Successful Mums with laptops that are entirely fit for the training purposes they require, and also be reducing waste and supporting GDPR.”

Of the partnership, Axis Group Finance Director, Simon Giles added, “This is an ideal use of laptops with plenty of life in them for other purposes. The LP Networks team has also done a fantastic job in upgrading them so that Successful Mums can make use of them for years to come.”

Founder of Successful Mums, Jane Knight, stated “We are extremely thankful for this initiative that will help us to deliver further training, and help more women build successful careers following motherhood.”
