Consortio Security, the Derby based private security firm, has just announced it’s support for the Student Minds mental health charity. Starting from the 1st of July 2019, Consortio will be donating a percentage of revenue generated from education and student accommodation sector to the organisation.
Student Minds is a UK based non-profit focused on the mental health of students in higher education. Their stated purpose is to provide the tools and assistance needed to empower students to look after their own mental health. They assist them in developing the knowledge and confidence needed not only to care for themselves but to support others and to affect change in the world.
Student Minds educates students and faculty from universities around the country on how to deliver peer-led interventions, research driven campaigns and workshops. They believe that working with stakeholders collaboratively is the best method of sharing best practices and enabling students to have a voice about student mental health.
Consortio Security is deeply involved in the education and student accommodation industries and appreciates the opportunity to support and improve the well-being of their stakeholders.
