The Axis Group’s security and training divisions nominated at this year’s OSPAs.

Axis_security_group_logoAxis Security and Axis Academy have been nominated in the Outstanding Contract Security Company (Guarding) and Outstanding Security Training Initiative for The Axis Academy categories at the 2020 Outstand Security Performance Awards (OSPAs).

Axis Security is celebrating a groundbreaking year, having attracted £24 million in new business in 2019, a 140% increase over 2018. The Axis Academy is being nominated for it’s Mental Health First Aid course, launched in mid-2019 and having already been attended by 220 participants across 3 levels.

“We see ourselves as one of the outstanding performers in the security sector, doing our utmost to support our talented people and deliver top-quality customer service to our clients.

“Giving the right kind of support to employees remains key to everybody’s success so we are especially pleased to see the response to our new training initiatives, especially around the area of mental health. The course also helps people to recognise and manage their own stress, and how to implement a positive mental health culture in the workplace, so it’s a really beneficial addition to our leaning offering”, says Axis Security, Managing Director, David Mundell.

Every year the OSPAs recognises outstand achievement in the security industry and this year will be held on February the 26th at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.
