The ACS Pacesetters is a private organization that promotes SIA approved contractors who have attained and ACS score in the top 15% of all UK accredited organizations. Every year they honour members of the front-line security community who have acted exceptionally in the course of their duties at their Security Officer of Distinction Awards Lunch. This year’s event will be held on the 3rd of June at the Royal Windsor Racecourse.
ACS Pacesetters announced today their guest speaker will be SIA Chief Executive, Ian Todd who in addition to his speaking duties will be presenting the awards to the successful officers.
In addition, ACS Pacesetters have also announced thaT their main sponsor for the event will be Broadstone-Engage. Along with Broadstone, MIT Ventures, Security & Vetting Solutions, SSAIB, Sutton Specialist Risk and TrakTik have also signed on to sponsor the event and will be presenting the company awards.
As is tradition at the Security Officer of Distinction Awards, ACS Pacesetters will be raising money for a worthy charity by holding a raffle. This year, proceeds will go to the Oxfordshire based Felix Fund Bomb Disposal Charity with the hope that they can exceed last year’s total of £1835 raised.
