From an announcement given today, it is understood that Samson Security Ltd has been awarded a contract to provide the provision of Security Services for the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board’s property portfolio. The Contract began as of 1st April 2019 and is to due to run for the next 3 years.
In a Company Statement Andie Fessey, Senior Manager at Samson Security said:
“We are providing services such as Accident and Emergency Department personnel, CCTV monitoring, Guarding Provision and Mobile Alarm / Key Holding Response across this vast portfolio.
“Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is the largest health organisation in Wales, providing a full range of primary, community, mental health and acute hospital services for a population of around 678,000 people across the six counties of North Wales (Anglesey, Gwynedd, Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire, and Wrexham).
“There are three main hospitals Samson is providing Security at (Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor, Ysbyty Glan Clwyd in Bodelwyddan and Wrexham Maelor Hospital) along with a wider network of community hospitals, health centres, clinics, mental health units and community team bases.”
