The Exclusec Group wins 3 year contract for the Spinning Gate Shopping Centre

The Spinning Gate Shopping Centre has announced that The Exclusec Group has been chosen for the provision of security and cleaning services moving forward.

Following their successful completion of a 12 month contract for security services at the centre in 2018, the North-West based Exclusec Group has been awarded a 3 year contract for the provision of security and cleaning services.

The Spinning Gate Shopping Centre covers 110,000sq ft and has over 40 retail units in Leigh and is owned by the Atmore Group Ltd.

Exclusec with be providing 10,000 hours of security and 8,400 hours of cleaning as part of the new contract which will help maintain a safe and clean environment for the centre’s 4 million annual visitors.

The current security team will be staying on for the mobilisation of this contract as they have been effective over the past 12 months in reducing retail crime, delivering high levels of customer service and handling emergency and first aid situations. All of the members of the team are SIA licensed and undergo regular training and professional development.

Under the TUPE law, the existing cleaning team has been transferred to the Exclusec and will undergo extensive training and development.
